Morgado Golf Course Review

One of the longest of the Algarve golf courses at 6,399 meters, this par 73 golf course is an excellent challenge for golfers of all abilities. Just north of Portimao, Morgado golf course is laid out in the most spectacular setting, amongst small undulating valleys.

Famous for it's large putting greens, Margado golf course will require you to be on your best golf putting game to score well! and although Morgado has wide and generous fairways, there are plenty of well placed bunkers and water hazards to test your accuracy.

Morgado golf course opened in 2003 and was designed by Russell Talley of European Golf Design. The clubhouse offers some amazing views over the golf course and driving range. With the Monchique mountains as it's backdrop, Morgado golf course is set in the most peaceful and uninterrupted natural environments.

The front nine at Morgado is in full view of the clubhouse and is fairly flat and has all the openness of a classic links course. The back nine enjoys a slightly more undulating layout and takes you into the surrounding countryside and back again.
