The
new 2011 Callaway RAZR XF Hybrid Golf Irons set are the most premium
set of Irons that Callaway have ever produced, and not only provide an
impressive and stylish look but also offer you the perfect combination
of forgiveness, playability & performance.
Utilizing the very latest technology that Callaway have to offer, the
RAZR XF Golf Irons have been specifically designed for the mid to high
handicap golfers who need a set of game improvement irons that will
help get the ball airborne and offer greater distance.
Featuring a multi-material club construction the RAZR XF Hybrid Irons
set includes two hybrid clubs (4h and 5h) to replace the harder to hit
long irons and 5 iron through to pitching wedge.
The main body of the Callaway RAZR XF Irons is forged from 1025 carbon
steel. This helps to provide the highest levels of feel, along with
promoting extremely soft and responsive feedback at impact, and the
club head is perimeter weighted to create a higher moment of inertia
for greater stability and increased forgiveness. |
The face is constructed from 455 Carpenter Steel, which is said to be
much stronger than traditional stainless steel and generates faster
ball speeds for greater distance, and the multi-material medallion in
the cavity is constructed from aluminum and is injection-molded with
plastic to fine-tune sound and enhance the feel off the clubface.
The RAZR XF Hybrid Golf Irons also features Callaway's Aggressive
Variable Face Technology (VFT). This advanced technology allows their
engineers to precision shape the face thickness of each individual club
in the set, so that it increases the size of the sweet spot and
generates hotter ball speeds for longer carry and distance.
With increased head sizes and additional offset, the Hybrids in the
golf set are the most forgiving that Callaway have ever created. The
Zero Roll/Inertia Driven Design also creates higher launch angles for
those shots hit lower on the clubface, helping to produce golf shots
that fly higher, land softer and travel longer and straighter.
Available in both right and left hand orientation and a choice of
graphite or steel shafts the Callaway RAZR XF Hybrid Golf Irons come
complete with an impressive Black PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition)
Finish produced from a high-tech process to offer a stealth like

By redistributing 30 grams of weight in the back cavity, Callaway have
managed to shift the centre of gravitiy so that it is 12 percent lower
and 15 percent deeper in these Irons. This along with VFT Technology
