delighted to invite you to join them for another series of Senior
Algarve Golf Holidays in the sun. This will be their 15th Senior Golf
Fiesta in Iberia and this time will be based in the beautiful towns
of Tavira and
Vilamoura in Southern Portugal from the 28th January to 19th February
2012, offering gently competitive golf and
a house-party social atmosphere, with the added advantage of the
excellent clinics presided over by Keith Robson thier resident P.G.A.

1st Session at

Unbelievably
it's been seven years
since we had a festial session in Tavira, so it's with great pleasure
that we return to the 4 star Hotel Vila Gale Tavira. The golf courses
are all within 35 minutes driving time and the Hotel is within easy
walking distance of the town's many bars, restaurants and shops. The
Tavira Senior Algarve Golf Holiday programme will include:
- 14 nights Hotel Vila Gale Tavira
in twin rooms, bed & breakfast.
- 2 nights dinner included.
- Group B 4 door car hire (Hyundai, Getz or
similar) shared between 2 persons and picked up from Faro Airport.
- 6 Golf competitions, 2 at Benamor, 1 at
Quinta da Ria, 1 at Castro Marim, 1 at Quinta do Vale

The 4 star
Hotel Vila Gale Tavira is unobtrusively located in the
centre of the historic town. It has 268 rooms most with spectacular
views over the city
but with many also overlooking the pool. Each room has a
balcony,
air-conditioning, minibar, satellite T.V., telephone and hairdryer.
There is a dining room plus Grill Room and bar.
The health
club has indoor pool, Jacuzzi, gym, sauna and massage room. We include
dinner in the hotel after the welcome party and on the final night.
There are 7 or 12 half board packages available but you will find that
there are many excellent restaurants within easy walking
distance.
Once again we will twice visit Benamor Golf Course, an old favourite
and it is here that Keith Robson will preside over his now famous
clinics.
We will also play
at Quinta da Ria, Castro Marim and Quinta do
Vale, and once again we will spoil ourselves with a day out at the
superb Jack Nicklaus designed algarve golf course, Monte Rei.
Tavira
is without a doubt one of the most attractive and relatively unspoiled
coastal towns in the Algarve, with 37 churches and a splendid
Roman Bridge, and it was at one time an important tuna fishing port.
The
wetlands and salt pans to the east of the town are an important wild
life reserve with a wealth of birdlife. Tavira excursions may
be
made to Faro, to Loule or inland to the wildernesses of the eastern
Algarve. |

2nd Session Golf and Wine Tour at
Vilamoura 12 - 19 Feb 2012

Following
the success of the first V & B Golf and Wine tour, we
will once again combine golf with the delights of the appreciation of
wine and its production. We have chosen to base ourselves at the
superbly situated four star Hotel Vila Gale Ampalius in Vilamoura.
The
Hotel overlooks the sea and is within a few minutes walk of the marina
and shops, restaurants and bars of Vilamoura. The hotel has its own
restaurant Versatil and an outdoor pool, sauna and massage room. The
Casino is very close to the hotel. The 2012 Vilamoura Golf and Wine
session will include the following: |
