As with all of Titleist's new driver releases, their goal is simple, to produce a product that has an overall player performance level superior to that of its previous generation, which in this case is the Titleist 909 Drivers. With the Titleist 910 Drivers they have done exactly that. By introducing their new evolutionary technology Titleist are able to provide the essential ingredients that golfers are all craving for 'Speed and Stability'!

Titleist have optimized speed in the Titleist 910 Drivers by introducing their new fast face insert design, which gives golfers the potential for greater distance, and they have improved stability through weight distribution enhancements made to the crown and rear bezel weight.

A powerful accolade supporting the new drivers comes from the Worldwide Professional Tour itself, with over 100 players transferring over to the new Titleist 910 Drivers within a couple of months of the seeding process, and within that time they have already amassed a combined total of 8 Tour victories!

Tour players are keen to convert over to the new Titleist 910 Drivers because of a combination of head design and Titleist's new SecureFit Tour hosel technology, which simply provides the ability to optimize the drivers performance by tailoring it to suit the swing style of the individual.

What Sets The Titleist 910 Drivers Apart From The Rest?

What really sets the new Titleist 910 Drivers apart from the rest of the crowd, is the ability for golfers to now independently set the loft and lie angles to optimize both launch trajectory and direction control. Although there are a few other new drivers out there that offer excellent directional control by using adjustable face angle technology, they all seem to have less of an effect when it comes to optimizing the launch angle.

The new D2 and D3 Titleist 910 Drivers are equipped with the patented SureFit Tour (SFT) dual-angle hosel technology from Titleist, that offer up to 16 different loft and lie combinations. This evolutionary two-axis design system allows golfers to simultaneously optimize launch trajectory, spin rate and direction control, resulting in ultimate distance, accuracy and shot shaping performance.

Robotic testing on the Titleist 910 Drivers reveal that the 16 different loft and lie combinations can create a change in backspin by up to 825 rpm. They can also vary the launch angle by up to 1.5% by tweaking the loft angle, and produce up to 6 yards difference in direction control when adjusting the lie angle. All of this means that you have complete control over optimizing your driving performance.

Titleist have increased the effective hitting area (sweet spot) on the Titleist 910 Drivers by up to 15% when compared to the previous Titleist 909 Driver models, which ensures a larger maximum ball speed area for greater distance.

Titleist have also optimized weight distribution by lowering the driver's center of gravity and moving it further back in the clubhead. They have done this through thinning the crown of the cludhead by 17%, and creating a more sloped rear crown profile. They have also included a new swing weight screw located more towards the back end of the clubhead sole. This helps to create more stability, for better direction control, as there is less clubhead twisting at the moment of impact.

The main difference between the Titleist 910 D2 Driver and the Titleist 910 D3 Driver is that the 910 D2 Driver has a larger clubhead at 460cc which offers more forgiveness, and the 910 D3 has a smaller clubhead at 445cc and a slightly deeper face, which offers additional shot and trajectory control (probably more suited to the highly skilled golfers out there)..
