For our return to Lagos we will stay at the new 4 star Vila Gale Lagos Hotel on the famous Meia Praia Beach on the outskirts of the fascinating and historical town of Lagos.

The 4 star Hotel Villa Galé Tavira was opened in 2009 and occupies a superb location on the famous Meia Praia beach. This beach is very long and has stunning views across the bay of Lagos to Ponta da Piedade. There. There are 286 rooms and 38 Junior suites each have terrace, air conditioning, minibar and T.V.,Internet connection available in the room at 5€ p/day or 15€ p/ week. There is free internet access in reception and bar. The Hotel has 2 restaurants and 2 bars. There is an outside swimming pool, garage, car parking and THE SPA SATSANGA, has covered swimming pool, jacuzzi, gymnasium and there is a massage and treatment service.

Golf – Our base will be at Palmares where the Clinics will also be held. Also we shall visit the renowned Penina Hotel Course, the two courses at Morgado de Reguengo and at Boa Vista with its superb sea views.

Lagos - We believe this to be the most attractive town in the Algarve. Of great historical interest with associations with the voyages of discovery, the slave trade and Henry the Navigator. Lagos also has a myriad of shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs.

There are buses to town and of course taxis are easy and cheap if you do not wish to use your car. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and the Marina just about in walking distance also has some pleasant bars & restaurants (but not all are open in winter).

Portuguese Cuisine – Included for the first time will be demonstration of Portuguese Cookery by renowned local Chef Pedro Mendes at his restaurant in Praia da Luz. Following the demonstration there will be a wine tasting and a tapas lunch. Transport provided.
